MIDS Executive Director
Émilie Poisson is the Executive Director of the MIDS, where she oversees the Institute's operations and strategic direction. Before joining the MIDS, Émilie was Director of Learning, Engagement, and Organizational Development at IMPACT Initiatives, a Geneva-based non-governmental organisation conducting applied research in fragile and conflict settings focused on improving the effectiveness of humanitarian and development action. She has also held senior roles at Convergences and ACTED, leading teams across more than thirty countries. Émilie brings over seventeen years of leadership experience across the humanitarian, development, and strategic engagement sectors. Her work has centered on organizational transformation, change management, and inclusive leadership.
