Biography

Jose Antonio Moreno Rodriguez, LL.M. Harvard, 1993, is a Member of Annulment Committees at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes and acting Arbitrator under the Permanent Court of Arbitration and other institutional rules. He is also a former Member of the International Chamber of Commerce Court of Arbitration. Currently, he is enlisted as Arbitrator at both the general and the football list of the Court of Arbitration for Sport. Moreover, he is a Member of the Governing Council of UNIDROIT and Chair of its Working Group on its Legal Guide on Agricultural Land Investment Contracts (ALIC). He is a Member of the Inter-American Juridical Committee of the Organization of American States and Reporter for its Guide on International Contracts, as well as the Drafter of the Paraguayan Law on International Contracts. He was a Member of the Working Group of the Hague Conference on Private International Law on the Hague Principles on International Contracts. He was a delegate at UNCITRAL in 2006, when the Arbitration Model Law was amended. He is Former President of the American Association of Private International Law.
