Biography

Meher Tandon is an Indian qualified lawyer having completed her Bachelor of Laws (B.A. LL.B. Hons.)) from National Law Institute University, Bhopal, India in 2018.

Prior to the MIDS, Meher was retained as a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution and Employment practice areas at Khaitan & Co LLP, one of India’s leading law firms where she worked for five years. During her stint at the firm, she worked on a variety of dispute resolution matters, including cross-border, domestic, institutional, and ad hoc arbitrations and related pre and post-award legal proceedings, across various sectors such as hospitality, infrastructure, telecommunications, and the food and beverage industry. She has also worked extensively with commercial litigation and insolvency matters before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, and Tribunals in India.

Additionally, she has advised global clientele on various employment issues including workforce restructuring and employee transfers, employee benefits, pre-investment labour audits, severance and redundancy requirements and compliances, internal inquiries concerning employee misconduct, and workplace sexual harassment.

Meher also regularly writes on current issues in commercial arbitration and litigation and has been published on various legal platforms and journals in India.
