Anushree is an Indian qualified lawyer. She graduated from the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata with B.A./LL.B. (Hons.) in 2018.
Prior to joining the MIDS, Anushree was appearing and arguing before the courts and tribunals of India, particularly New Delhi. Her focus areas are commercial laws and arbitration. Anushree has also served as Law Clerk-cum-Research Assistant to Hon’ble Mr. Justice U. U. Lalit (former Chief Justice of India) at the Supreme Court of India, where she researched for and assisted in the drafting of judgments.
Anushree has been a Visiting Lecturer at the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, where she took a Seminar Course for undergraduate law students on ‘Commercial Remedies in India’. She has authored several publications in peer-reviewed journals, academic blogs, and news platforms and has contributed to a commentary on insolvency laws as a Research Assistant.
