Giovanni is an Italian graduate specialising in dispute settlement, with a particular focus on international commercial arbitration and investment arbitration. He is currently one of the Willem C. Vis Moot coaches of the University of Milan and he sits as an arbitrator for the Vis Moot competition.
Prior to his MIDS candidature, Giovanni worked for six months as an intern at Clifford Chance in London, in the private funds group, where, as of the very first working day, he was directly involved in the group's activities, assisting associates and partners to the launching of new private funds and participating in the negotiations with the investors.
Prior to joining Clifford Chance, Giovanni graduated with honours at the University of Milan (Mag. Jur.). During the academic years he partecipated in the Willem C. Vis Moot, where he was selected as oralist for the procedural parts in Vienna. The team advanced to the elimination rounds, placing within the best 64 teams out of 366. Giovanni participated also in a negotiation competition and attended two summer schools, among them the Arbitration Academy in Paris in 2018.
